Week One

Well here we go.  My attempt to blog.  I was not personally challenged... I guess I challenged myself to do the photo a day blog.  Since becoming a professional photography, I have seriously declined in the area of my own personal family photography.  So here is week one. 

Day 1

On our way back from Florida, we spent the night at my aunt's 

house in Mississippi.  This is the barn in her backyard.  I love it!  

Believe it or not, this barn survived Huricane Katrina!

Day 3

This was the glorious sunrise from the view of my backyard.  

It is beauty like this that reminds me of how creative our Creator is!

Day 4

This is my Christmas wreath.  We do not get a real tree anymore, so I get a real wreath.  I get a whiff of it every time I go in and out of the door.  My sister helped me decorate it last year... I tried to remember how she did it.  :)

Day 5

Bella had a basketball game.  I thought I might get some shots... 

but as you can see, objects in motion... cannot be seen.  

She is the second from the left on the bench.  

Day 7

We finally purchased a new microwave.  I cannot even begging to describe how horrible the last one was.  It took about 3 minutes to warm up liquid.  Ridiculous.  When Darryl removed the old one, we saw this gem of a patch of wallpaper.  EWwwwww.  Thank the Lord the previous homeowners textured over that horrid print.  I think I threw up a little in my mouth. 

So there it is, week 1.  Clearly I did not get a picture a day, but there is always next week, right?! I will challenge myself to actually get pictures of people... doing things.  We'll see.  :)
